Ever since SM Entertainment released the music video for the nine ladies’ latest and incredibly popular single, Oh! fans have been replaying the last few seconds of the video over and over again just to check out the extra teaser: cheerleader SNSD vs black SNSD.
This dark image strikes a great contrast to the normal cute, energetic, and youthful image we’ve all become accustomed to. And as a result, fans are anticipating SNSD’s new concept even more, excited by the thrill of change.
The girls have been preparing for this concept for quite some time; they even finished some of their filming before their second album was released! If you’ve been keeping track of the other active girl groups of the moment, you know that KARA and T-ara are similarly sporting very sexy, powerful appearances, but you don’t have to worry about SNSD blending in. Employees that have worked with the girls aren’t even worried about that and have said that “Black Soshi” is completely different.
“Oh!” was released and promoted week in, week out since the end of January. They are planning to include the new track along with “Oh!” into the repackaged album, and will be promoting both songs simultaneously. Won’t these hardworking girls ever tire?
On a final note, SM Entertainment has also released a picture still for their next “Black Soshi” concept album. Stills of other members will be released all throughout the period of March 11-15.
